Whether she was raising children, managing a health spa, a company or a library office, Nicki always did an outstanding job. Always giving of herself, she was active in her church, sang in the choir and spent her lunch hours delivering food to shut-ins.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to so many people all over the world, always going out of her way to keep everyone happy. Nicki was an angel walking on earth and now she has received her wings. We will sorely miss her.
She is survived by her husband Jack Brooks; sister-in-law June Attenhofer; mother, Eileen Palmer; daughter Leah-Marie and husband Greg Luther of Charlotte; son Darren and wife Maggie of Tega Cay; grandchildren, Colt, Casey Lynn; and numerous relatives in England and Australia.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, December 27, 2014, at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road in Mint Hill.
