He was born on March 8, 1947 in Charlotte, NC to the late Emily and Vernon Alley.
Ted graduated from UGA with a BS in Chemistry. He was a Real Estate Broker for over 40 years and later became a Real Estate Investor. Ted enjoyed the outdoors, wildlife and the low country area of the Carolinas. Ted loved spending time with family especially his nieces and nephew.
He is survived by his brother, Joseph K. Alley; sister, Eleanor S. Woodling (Marc); nieces, Bailey and Brenna Woodling and nephew, Zac Woodling.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC 28227 with a Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to a charity of your choice.
