Mike and Tracy lived behind us in Highland Creek for 10 years. I have many fond memories of driveway parties with the Downfield Wood crew. I am so sorry for the family and their loss. I am grateful for the memories. Rest easy Tracy!

You were like a little sister to me. We met in our 20-something years at Jimmy’s Deli/Guidos. You were outgoing, fun and so energetic.

You were so thoughtful. You were the only girlfriend who insisted to take me wedding dress shopping. You invited my young daughter to play with your sweet girls at your home during our SAHM days.

I will never forget our many good times. You walked into a room and the entire place lit up. Your infectious laughter and kind heart will never be forgotten.

You loved your girls. You loved hair and fashion. You loved to cook and share recipes.

I will miss you although we haven’t seen one another in years. My heart aches knowing that you’re no longer here, but to know you are at peace provides some comfort.

Tracy was one of my instructors at AVEDA back in 2009. She was one of the good ones. Always patient and understanding she never made you feel dumb for asking a question or for not getting something completely. Her energy radiated positivity and her laughter was infectious to everyone around. Regularly she would show photos of her daughters, she was so proud of them. There was one fast food restaurant she always ate from, I think it was chicfila, and she had a specific order.
Over the years she kept in touch with me, checked in on me, and her Facebook posts always kept me laughing.
Not all the instructors at AVEDA really cared about their students like Tracy did. I know she touched a LOT of lives during her time there, and left a lasting impression on many.
I know she loves her family, her daughters and her husband, and my heart truly breaks for the pain you must be feeling. I pray you find comfort in happy memories of Tracy doing something wild and funny. God bless you all!

I remember always wanting to call on you for help when I was on the floor doing hair at the aveda institute. You would come over and make me feel like I was doing a great job even if it looked awful. You’d take the shears out of my hand, work your magic and then walk away and say good job Lisa. You were an awesome Instructor!

For what it’s worth- the beers we are holding weren’t even open. It was around 2pm on a weekday and we had the best time spending time with our girls. We cooked, did each other’s hair, and genuinely did what we did best- laugh. I remember us taking the beers out of the fridge as “props”.. heaven knows what we were talking about as we were always up to something.

I cannot wait to eat grits with butter, hot sauce, and pepper again.

You’re friendship has always been like no other.
Let’s B&E soon.

Xoxo, Doggie
