Born June 25, 1926 in Mecklenburg County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Charles Winton Fleenor and Martha Elizabeth Pruitt Fleenor. She retired as a bookkeeper with Belk Store Services, and was a member of Back Creek Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her brother, Bub Fleenor, her sister, Edith Teeter, and a niece, Barbara Wigley.
Surviving are her husband of 66 years, Bill Turner; nieces, Lynette Biggers and Judy Hargett; and nephew, Chuck Fleenor.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 3, at Back Creek Presbyterian Church, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
