Bonnie Rita Pastor

Our beautiful, talented and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Bonnie Rita Pastor took her final leave from this Earth on January 7, 2022. Bonnie was born on May 1, 1949 , Los Angeles, CA, the daughter of Milton and Anne Rosenberg. She attended public school in the San Fernando valley and graduated from CSUN in 1972 with a degree in Sociology and a teaching certificate. Bonnie married tax attorney, Mark D. Pastor on St. Patricks Day, March 17, 1970 at the Bel-Air Hotel and lived with her family in Encino, CA for the last 50 years. She was a successful real estate broker and investor who found and enabled the purchase of wonderful homes for her children, family members and friends. Bonnie was the founder, president, and CEO of the Late Onset Tay-Sachs Research and Education Foundation. This philanthropy support the medical research of this neurological disease, which afflicts her son Eric. Bonnie was a devoted wife to her husband Mark, loving and caring mother to her children Melanie Joy Pastor and Eric R. Pastor. She was an adoring and nurturing grandmother to Aiden and Brooke Hersh. Bonnie was a best friend to her sister, Lynne Kuznetsky. She will be deeply missed and forever loved by her family and friends.
