Dayle was such a beautiful light in our lives

Rest in God's eternal grace, dear Dayle.  I am grateful for your kind friendship and organizing  the many James Monroe HS class of W'64 Myrmidon luncheons over the past 45 years.

Lunch at More Than Waffles...Jeff's taking the photo...  Dayle ❤, my niece Leila, my brother Michael, my sister-in-law Nina, and me, Debbie.  (And Li'l Bear's brown and white doggie head in  the corner.)  We were happy.

Thank you, Dayle, for all you've done for me, for Belle, for Jeff.  You were an amazing woman, so kind, so caring, so dedicated, so selfless.  I don't know how I  would have made it through the many last years when my mother was suffering, blind and  very infirm, without your help;  your companionship with her helped her so very much to not feel alone, and gave me such reassurance and solace when I could not be with her.   Your eyes kept her safe.  Your heart kept her calm.  You were even with her at the end, holding her hand.   Oh my G-d, Dayle, you were a blessing on this Earth.   We will miss you... your voice... your smile... your wit... your laughter... your "Oys."   I hope you have peace now, and good health and joy wherever you are.   Much love, Debbie

Dayle, my dear sweet friend since high school. Such a precious soul, forever in my heart. 

I will always cherish my memories of Dayle’s smiles, her laughter and her uncommon wit, but mostly I will remember her love.

I've known my dear friend Dayle for 66 years.  She always cared much more about everyone else than she did herself and preferred to be in the background.  Over the years I've amusingly seen Dayle confused, directionally disoriented and befuddled...But never once did I see her angry.   She was one of a kind and unique; she was a joy and a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing her; she was simply Dayle and we all loved her!  On behalf of her school friends and myself we will tearfully miss her!  I Love ya' Buddy!  Jill
