Deanna Kimel, born in Chicago, to Archie and Sadie Cherne. A dedicated educator, she taught primary school in Chicago, Brazil, Florida and California. Deanna truly loved life, embraced every moment and wanted to live forever. She found great joy in traveling, eating out, doing water aerobics at the pool or beach, and watching TV (especially tennis). She also got a lot of pleasure in complaining through it all. She was known for her love of talking, storytelling, cleaning and organizing. She had many cats, dogs, birds and even turtles throughout her life and spoiled all of them rotten.
She is survived by her sister Barbara, her daughter, Laura, her son, Michael, her grandson, Alexander and her many Grandcats.
Deanna will be deeply missed. She was a beautiful person inside and out and the best mother in the world.
