Ethel Felice Shein, 95, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at her home in La Mirada, California. She was born on July 9, 1919 in New York to David and Lena Kaplan. Ethel spent her life as a homemaker, caring for her husband and 4 children. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harry and two sons, Ian and Bruce. Ethel is survived by her daughters, Janice (Bruce) LeBrun, Sheryl (Oliver) Fowler; brother, Louis (Esther) Kaplan; grandchildren, Bryan, Deborah and David; great grandchildren, Ali, Brandon and Carly; nephews, Michael, Lee and Terry Kaplan and niece, Darci Blankendaker.
Graveside services at Home of Peace Memorial Park will private. A memorial service to honor and celebrate Ethel's life will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2015, 5:00pm, at Temple Beth Ohr, 15721 Rosencrans Ave, La Mirada, CA 90638. Arrangements are under the direction of Groman Eden Mortuary.
