It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our mother, Gail Sondra Cohen, who left us on May 26, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones, with a smile on her face. Full of love, laughter, and resilience, she touched the lives of all who knew her. She was born to loving parents Ida (Spear) and Morris Joseph Leckowitz, in Paterson, NJ, on September 16, 1942. She was a beloved mother to Glenn Cohen, Carl Cohen, and Stacey Westfall, and she shared her love and life with her devoted and adoring partner, Norman Brown. She was an absolutely incredible grandmother to Kaitlyn Thibodeau, Megan, Sigi, Vincent, Maile, and Daphne Cohen. Funeral services will be held at Eden Memorial Park in Mission Hills, Ca at 11am on May 30, 2024. If you’d like to recognize Gail, please send a memorial gift to St. Jude’s Medical Center.
