August 17, 1924 - October 4, 2013 Dr. Herbert Ravetch, President Emeritus of Pierce College and founder of Los Angeles Mission College, died Friday morning in Tarzana. He was 89. He is survived by his wife, Gloria, his sons: David (Gwen), Josh and Adam; his six grandchildren: Cooper, Shelby, Noah, Rosie, Jessica and Jordan; and his sister, Merona Frank. Public services will be held Monday, October 7th at 1:00 p.m. at Eden Mortuary: 11500 Sepulveda Blvd. in Mission Hills.
