Howard Bernard Berkowitz, age 82, of Encino, CA, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017 (9 Cheshvan 5778). Howard was born September 26, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois, to Lester and Rae (nee Goldstein) Berkowitz.
Howard is survived by his beloved wife, Lynne Brower Berkowitz; his children, David (Isabelle) Berkowitz, Michele (Jeff) Shelby, Dr. Elyse (Meir Ezra) Rubenstein, Neil Rubenstein, and Matthew (Trish) Rubenstein; his sister-in-law, Francine (Allan) Croft; his brother-in-law, David (Marcia) Brower; and his grandchildren, Madelyn, Katelyn, Aynie, Zackary, Maya, Ethan, Jonathan, and Ashley; and his extended family.
Funeral services for Howard will be held Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM in the Groman Eden Chapel of Groman Eden Mortuary. Services will be officiated by Rabbi Robert Elias, and will conclude graveside, in Eden Memorial Park. Howard authored his autobiography, entitled "Hollywood- A Love Affair Remembered".
