Howard Fondler, 88, born May 2, 1935, in the Bronx, New York, died March 24, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Preceded in death by his mother, Rose Hermann, stepfather Aaron Hermann, and a father he barely knew, Abe Fondilier. Survived by son David Fondler (Heidi Rose), daughter Stephanie Fondler, ex-wife and lifelong friend Elaine Fondler, cousins Larry Cutler and Michael Curtis. Howard was successful lawyer, practicing first in real estate, then immigration; he was a lifelong fan of the New York Yankees and UCLA Bruins; he was an avid reader, and in retirement an avid traveler. Memorial service at 11 AM, Wednesday, April 10, at Eden Memorial Park, 11500 Sepulveda Blvd., Mission Hills, CA 91345; reception to follow.
