

Born on in Berlin, Germany, Ingrid survived the Holocaust in hiding with her family. In 1947, at the age of 12, she, her mom and brother came to New York to begin a new life. She married Alex Weiss at the age of 18 and had two daughters with him, Denise Sacks and Ann Rolett. Alex died in 1963. Three years later, she married Phil Sacks and adopted his daughter Sandra Sacks Follansbee who passed away in 2022. They were happily married for 52 years until his passing in 2018.
She dedicated her life to her family, enabling them to be the best they could be. She and Phil loved to travel, enjoyed being involved in their temple, sampling diverse cuisine and especially spending time with family.
She is survived by her daughters Ann and Denise, her grandchildren Aaron and Victoria Rolett and Chris and Scott Follansbee, and her great grandchildren Benjamin and Joshua Rolett and Dean and Oliver Follansbee.
A funeral service for Ingrid will be held Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Groman Eden Chapel, 11500 Sepulveda Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 91345. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Eden Memorial Park, 11500 Sepulveda Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 91345.
