Dear Joan: I was so saddened to hear of Ira's death. Especially so since I had both of you on our list to invite you over to our home in La Quinta for a dinner (of all vegetables, of course!! for Ira). Alas, it is now too late.

Ira was a joy to be around and I know he treasured having you share his life. His sense of humor was priceless. I remember many Tues or Thurs (can't remember which) when I would join Lon and Ira for lunch at Dennys so we could enjoy the delicious lamb shanks. We always had interesting lunch conversations.

I will miss him as I am sure you will also. If you still have your place in the desert please give me a call so we can get together. Love, Sharon Miller

Ira always had a smile. I was never sure if he knew something special or if was just happy to be with me. Doesn't matter, I will miss him.

Ira, I will miss you very much. Thank you for being an excellent caring father. Thank you for my wonderful dog Penny. Most of all thank you for all the advice and help you have provided me over the years. I miss you very much.

Ira's wisdom to marry a devoted wife and fabulous friend was one of his best life long decisions. Watching the banter between Ira and Joan often provided the viewer with laughter and many happy memories. You are missed Ira for your wit and friendship, and I thank you for being an inspiration in my life.

Ira, I will miss our sushi lunches the great time we had golfing and the many simulating conversations we had. You loved to tease and stir things up and I enjoyed all your stories. Thanks for being my friend. God Bless

I'm so sorry for the loss of such a kind and gentle man. Uncle Ira had a wonderful sense of humor and he opened his home and arms to me several times while I was growing up. He was a wonderful support and a sweet, loving uncle when I was finding my way through a very dark time. I loved him very much I will miss him but I am so grateful for the memories. Peace to you all. XO

We loved Ira's spirit for live and the wonderful banter at dinner with our dear friends. Here is to you Ira. You will be greatly missed. Mike and Claudia

Honored to have known Ira!
He treated me like another son.
His generosity and advice and humor will always be greatly appreciated and missed!!

To my good friend and golf buddy who was so talented to the end that I refused to play you anymore because my ego could not take losing to a guy 13 years my senior and on oxygen. You always knew how to get my goat.

Rest in peace, my friend. You are truly missed.

I didn't know you Mr. Miller but I want to thank you for loving my best friend so well.

Oh Dad, I don't know how I will continue on without your wise council. You are my hero and you always make me laugh. I miss you already. All my love, forever.

Ira,
You will be sorely missed. I have and always will think of you as a Dad, not a stepfather. I will miss your advice and especially your humor and our bantering. Love Tim & Pam
