Before I express my condolences to Irv’s passing, I will talk about our friendship and the fact that I feel I never expressed it enough.
As a young man in my early 20’s I first met Irv, I was trying to get hired by Crown Brokerage, he was a partner there.
The thing I first noticed about Irv was that he was genuine, and Irv always seemed to be the calming influence in any eruption. 
He became more than my employer or a mentor, or as an eventual business partner, Irv was always a friend. Irv offered sage advice and encouragement toward my goals, those words I will always recall, Irv was there for me during good and difficult times. 
I have too many memories of Irv to list, but I must state this, none of them are regretful.  
Irv and I have stayed in contact all these years and will continue to do so in my thoughts through my own time here. 
Irv, I will miss the phone calls, but the thoughts of your impact on my life will always sustain me. 
Good bye Irv ,I will always have Love in my heart for you,  Hal Ey

Over the past many years, Irv was our legend of an uncle and with the unwavering help of Brandon, we visited quite often and cherished every minute of our visits.

May his memory be a blessing to all those he touched.
