Irving White passed away peacefully on Friday, May 13, 2016 (5 Iyar, 20 Omer 5776). He was 98 years old. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Mr. White's memory to the charity of your choice.
Mr. White was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, on Thursday, March 4, 1917. He was married to his beloved wife, Selma Amelia (née Rosenberg) White, Of Blessed Memory, for 73 years, before her passing on Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Mr. White was a pillar of the business and religious community in the Los Angeles area. He was among the first Buick car dealers in the Los Angeles area, was a founding member of Temple Valley Beth Shalom, and was a dedicated supporter of the Jewish Home for The Aging, Los Angeles.
He is survived by his two children, Arlene Harriet Mickley and Howard Wallace (Kathy) White; his 5 grandchildren; and his 6 great- grandchildren.
