My heart is saddened by the passing of Joan.  She was the sweetest, kindest person anyone could know.  I have known her since our UB Bunko days, and when she called me to go work with her at Metro Bank, it was a pleasure to work with her.  She was always so helpful with the staff and customers loved her. Sadly we only saw each other about once a year but being around her always lifted people spirits.  She was always happy even though there were things in her life she wished were different, she had a zest for life. I'm so glad she was surrounded by so many family and friends when she got her angel wings and journeyed home to God.  You will be missed Joanie! My Prayers go out to your family!

Joan was a fun loving person with a big heart and a sense of humor that never faltered. Even in the worst of times she was able to find a reason to laugh. We send our prayers, condolences and strength to the family and all who were lucky enough to have known Joan. Remember to hold on to the wonderful memories and the sound of her laughter forever.

Joan and I have known one another since B'nai Brith Young Adults and have seen one another recently with Neil's visits.  We enjoyed sharing laughs of our growing years together. Saddened to hear of her passing, and hope family can find comfort in fond memories.  She is missed.....

Duke and I extend our deepest condolences to Joan's family.  We will remember Joan always. She was such a friendly, fun-loving, and caring person.

Joan was always so kind and sweet to me. She was a truly special lady and she always treated my Mom with kindness and compassion and love. She will be missed. Our condolences go out to her family and loved ones at this very difficult time.

Joan was a very special person.  A joy to be around.   I have known her for more than 25 years. 

She was always there for me, especially the last 3 years before my Mom passed. She would visit Mom at least once a week and talked to her on the phone.  Joan never hesitated to help.  

We use to talk on the phone often.   I remember how excited she was last year about Ryan's wedding and also getting to spend time with her grandkids.

I will miss her very much.   My condolences to her family and all the people that she loved and love her
