Than ever on this earth.
The spirit, not the flesh, more true:
A more authentic birth.

Your body, though a beauty, failed
To show just who you were,
While all before your dance but paled
When hearts began to stir.

You said I was your angel, friend,
You always told me so.
Perhaps you're mine, now met your end,
A winged, dancing soul.

Your toes are lips that kiss the clouds;
You dance on heaven's billows.
You entertain angelic crowds
Who rest on misty pillows.

O dance, O dance, O dancer ours,
In air as on the loam:
Chainê sweet slippers through the hours
On heaven's tidal foam.

Each flash of memory of feet
You fleeted on the stage
Recalls your soul our spirits meet
In prayer through every age.

Still! still! your legs in leap are master there!
Still buttermilk in whir your limbs in air!
The stars the garlands in your tossing hair!
O Jocelyn! Such grace in limbs so fair!

Untouchable and noble, we were awed;
Now you ballet in heaven before God!
You live with such vitality in us!
Our hearts what home may hold you now in trust!

Rest in peace Jocelyn. You are a beautiful person.

Our Deepest Sympathy to the Straus Family.  People just can't know the sorrow that another has to bear.
But they can express their sympathy and show how much they care...
So we're sending this to tell the Straus family that our thoughts are with you now, and we hope just knowing that we care will comfort you somehow.
