Over a life defined by steady purpose and devotion, Joseph earned a doctorate degree and served as a university professor for about 60 years. His long academic career reflected a deep commitment to work well done and to the responsibilities he carried with care. To those who knew him, Joseph was beloved—held close not only for what he achieved, but for the constancy and dedication he brought to family and students and pursuits that mattered most.
Joseph is survived by his two children, Ron and Ira, as well as grandchildren.
A Committal Service will be held at Eden Memorial Park, 11500 Sepulveda Blvd, Mission Hills, CA 91345, on November 2, 2026, at 3:00 PM.
