In Loving Memory

"Look for the silver lining

Whenever a cloud appears in the blue

Remember, somewhere the sun is shining

And so the right thing to do is make it shine for you

A heart, full of joy and gladness

Will always banish sadness and strife

So always look for the silver lining

And try to find the sunny side of life.”

(Look for the Silver Lining, by Chet Baker)

The way my Uncle Larry’s gentle voice and thoughtful words washed over me on those special occasions when I got to see him as a child provided me with one of the most profound models for acting with kindness throughout my life. I am so glad I got to watch and listen to him and his beautiful voice as he held Aunt Lil’s hand and serenaded her at their most recent Zoom wedding anniversary. Your voice is always with me, Uncle Larry. Love to all, Kathy Kraus
