Lynne Ann Cohen

Lynne Ann Cohen of Torrance, California, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2015 (1 Elul 5775), at age 83. Services will be on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at 3 pm, in the Groman Eden Chapel of Groman Eden Mortuary. Services will be officiated by Cantor Sam Radwine, and will conclude graveside in Eden Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Lynne's memory to the charity of your choice.

Lynne retired from a long and fruitful career as a legal secretary, but she was so much more. She fought tirelessly for a number of good causes for the poor, underprivileged, and downtrodden, throughout her life. She was the voice for those who couldn't speak, and the eyes for those who couldn't see. She always sought to do the right thing, and instilled her values in her family. Thus her legacy will truly live on for many generations.

She is preceded in passing by her parents, Henrietta and Irving Kasper; and is survived by her daughter, Linda (Eric) Robins, and her son, Jeffrey. She leaves behind three grandsons, Aaron Cohen, Jonah Robins, and Jonathan Cohen; as well as numerous nieces.
