Mark David Pastor

Mark David Pastor passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026 at 89 years old, at his home in Encino. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. He dedicated over 50 years to practicing tax law during the week and golfing 18 holes on the weekends. A Harvard law graduate, he had his own law firm in Encino and lived just blocks away from the office.

Born on January 23, 1937, Mark lived through many presidents and wars. He was born in Evansville, Indiana and became a collegiate Hosier at Indiana University. He served in the airforce and after Law School, moved to Los Angeles, CA. Mark began practicing law as a district attorney and then in Beverly Hills with a firm. He met the love of his life, Bonnie Rosenberg at a Hillel dance at UCLA, and the couple wed in 1970. They moved to Encino and were married for over 50 years, until Bonnie passed away in 2022.

Mark is survived by his daughter and son, Melanie and Eric, as well as his grandchildren, Aiden and Brooke. He leaves us with a lifetime of memories and will forever be missed.
