Marlene Phyllis Kopelow, born on August 9, 1938, in Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on December 27, 2025, at the age of 87. Marlene was a beloved, compassionate, devoted, hard-working, patient, selfless, and honest individual who touched the lives of many.
Marlene was the cherished daughter of Max and Ethel, growing up in Cleveland, Ohio, before moving to Los Angeles, California. She dedicated her life to being a homemaker, embodying the qualities of patience and selflessness in all her endeavors.
She was married for 67 years to her devoted husband, Sandy. Marlene is survived by her two sons, Gregory and Kevin, and her daughter-in-law, Tina. She was a wonderful sister to her brother Burton and proud grandmother to Max and Ava, who will continue to carry her legacy.
Marlene was known for her love of the color red, a reflection of her vibrant and passionate nature. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her, and her legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire.
Funeral services will be held at Groman Eden Mortuary, Groman Eden Chapel, located at 11500 Sepulveda Blvd, Mission Hills, CA 91345, on January 18, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
