

Martin ‘Marty’ Snyder was born in New York, December 4th, 1923. He studied chemical engineering at Columbia University in New York until he enlisted in the US army and became a medic in the South Pacific during World War II. When he came back from the war, he studied Chiropractic where he met his beloved wife Shirley. They married in 1950 and had 3 daughters. They moved the family to Los Angeles in 1959 and he thrived in his Chiropractic practice. Shirley passed away in 1995 after 44 years of marriage. He married Harriet in 1996. He traveled to many countries around the world and the US. He loved exchanging ideas and information about travel, politics, current events, history and past wars. Marty was known for a great sense of humor and amazing knowledge on many subjects. He was a proud WW2 veteran and an active member of Wings Over Wendy’s his favorite veterans group. The most important part of his life was his family. he was so proud of his entire clan. He is remembered by his loving 3 daughters (and their spouses), Donna Snyder, Suzi & Jeff Oliver, Ellen & Tim Deubner, His Grandchildren (and their spouses), Sara, Justin & Lily, Elyshia & Brandon, Heather & Stefan Jr., His nephews Mark & Neal Snyder, and his great grandchildren Stefan III, Nevaeh, Braylin, and Damian. He lived life to the fullest to the age of 96. Donations in his name to any veterans group of your choosing.
