
Sunday, January 3rd, 2021 in Pasadena, California.
Bob spent over half a century in aerospace, beginning at General Dynamics astronautics operations in San Diego as launch vehicle program control manager for Mercury and other space programs. Following a period at GD’s corporate office in Manhattan, he moved to Canadair Limited where he took part in the start-up of the Challenger executive jet. When Bombardier Inc., acquired Canadair, he was promoted to Executive Vice President, then division President, leading his beloved team that developed and launched production of the Bombardier Regional jet airliner. Bob held a Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego. He also served in the Air Force.
Bob is survived by his wife, Christine Allison Wohl and his daughters, Melissa and Suzanne.
Bob leaves behind close relatives all over the world who join with the immediate family in mourning his loss.
Due to Covid, a memorial will be set at a later date.
