Samuel Alvin Gordon of Encino, California, passed away October 26, 2014 (2 Cheshvan 5775). Services will be held Thursday, October 30, 2014, at 3 pm, in the Eternal Light Chapel of Groman Eden Mortuary. Flowers are not being accepted.
Mr. Gordon, an Honorably Discharged Veteran of the United States Army, and WWII POW, is survived by his beloved wife, Faye Gordon; his children, Elaine (Dennis) Roman and Betty Mednick (Of Blessed Memory); his sister, Rosalind Rachlin; his brother, Nathan (Beatrice) Gordon; his son-in-law, Stuart (Betty, OBM) Mednick; his nephews, Barry (Shirley) Goldman and Sidney Goldman; his grandchildren, Erika (Brad) Brownstein, Joshua (Liat) Roman, Mathew Roman, Louis Mednick, Fern (Harley) Sauvage; and his great-grandchildren, Brianna, Liam, and Noah.
