Samuel "Sam" Spiegel of Santa Clarita, California, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 25, 2013, 23 Kislev 5774. Sam is survived by his wife, Etta Spiegel; his children, Caren (Walter) Lake, Andrew (Dianna) Spiegel, Bruce (Zeda) Spiegel; his nephew, Michael Spiegel; and his grandchilren, Elizabeth Lake, Evan Spiegel, Walter Lake, Samantha Spiegel, and five great-grandchildren.
Sam is a veteran of the United States Army Air Corp, and is a member of the Jewish War Veterans and the American War Veterans.
Services will be held Friday, November 29, 2013, at 2 P.M. in the Groman Eden Chapel. Burial will follow at Eden Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Sam's name to City of Hope; www. cityofhope.org/giving
