Sandra Raquel Saunders passed away peacefully on January 1, 2019. She is survived by her husband Stuart, daughters Susan Royer (Keith) and Shari Ferezy, her brother Alan Goldberg, and her grandchildren Molly Zussman (Chad), Steven Ferezy, Rose Zussman (Connor) and Brett Ferezy. An adoring aunt to all of her nieces, Sandi’s home was the hub of a large, loving extended family.
Born in Racine, Wisconsin on February 6, 1937, Sandi was to become a lifelong artist and teacher. In the mid-1950’s, Sandi’s parents, Manny and Bess Goldberg, moved the family from Chicago to the San Fernando Valley. Respected by her peers and recognized for her talents, it was spending time with family and lifelong friends that brought Sandra the greatest joy. She will be missed.
Funeral: Friday, January 4, 2019 at 2:00pm at Eden Memorial Park in Mission Hills
