Lois and I graduated from Beth Israel School of Nursing in 1956.  I always admired Lois for her self-assurance, great attitude, and sense of humor.  As the years passed and we were separated by the many places I had lived over the years (three years in Africa), we got to see one another when I moved to California.  She and Milt came to visit us, and we went to visit them.  Although I couldn't get to see her in person after she became so sick, we spoke on the phone often, and I know that she made the best of a long and painful illness.  We discussed everything during the time she was (more or less) confined to the house.  It saddened me to hear her voice become weaker and weaker, though her will to live was strong.  I know she appreciated the support of her family and friends.

May the light you lit in others be passed through the years forever to come that they may shine you, upon all with all your white light of Love you gave to others.
