Seymour Ravitz

Desert, CALIFORNIA, PASSED AWAY PEACEFULLY

SURROUNDED BY HIS FAMILY ON THURSDAY

FEBRUARY 25, 2016.

Born August 19,1927 in Mahattan New York, the son of the

late Samuel and Esther Ravitz and Brother Mel Ravitz.

Sy served his country in the United States Navy in World

War II and the Korean conflict. An active member of Boy

Scouts of America, he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout

and multiple other honors.

Sy spent 30 years as a general manager for United Coin

Meter Company in Detroit Michigan.

SY dedicated his life to his family and wife Rhea of 67

years.

SY is survived by:

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday March 2, 2016

at Groman Eden Mortuary, 11500 Sepulveda Blvd.,

Mission Hills,Ca 91345 At 11:00 am. Shiva Hours to be

announced.
