My first real memory of Shayna is when I was 4 years old. We were outside at a pool party at aunt Laura’s house.  I remember loving having a big older cousin. I thought she was sooo cool. Her and her boyfriend at the time we’re making me a cheeseburger and while all the kids played, I wanted to stand right with her. Looking back she was just a teenager but she never treated me like I was bothering her. She was very adult about it and let me hang out as a little third wheel. They even gave me twenty bucks. I loved her picking me up from school. Shabbat we would sit and talk sometimes for hours about everything under the sun all my life.. and when Shayna had little Anthony.. I was so excited. He was the first baby I got to take care of. When he was a baby I stayed after school with grandma while she babysat him but I really took the opportunity to learn how to care for babies. I remember being at aunt Laura’s and Anthony needed a diaper change and I asked Shayna if I could pleeeease change it and she thought it was hilarious cause I didn’t really know what I was getting myself into and it ended up being a big poopy diaper (sorry Anthony you were a baby) and it was green and I freaked out so we always had an inside joke with all her other kids about green poop. When Shay had Robert and she went to nursing school around the same time as me and we would talk about all the stuff in clinicals and work. And when she was on the way to work we would just talk about life.. I miss that. I remember stopping by her “farm” to see all the ducks and animals. (And steal some avocados.) every year during Passover she would make that noise when we were throwing out the water/wine and when we had guests she didn’t wanna do it and I’d make her do it anyways. She was so proud of her kids and I admired always how she mothered. I told her when I have kids I wanna be a mom like her.  She shined so bright.I just love her. I wish I could tell her one more time “I love you cousin”

Shayna came into my life and changed it forever, showed me a love you could only dream about. We stayed by each other side almost 24/7 for the better part a year. So many plans left unfinished. I’ll never forget her and never stop loving her. Thank you for the last gift Baby Landon Shayne

I am so sorry for anthony ,robert and gabriels and now the new babies loss ,her moms and grandmas loss also ,and peter and rachael ,i lived across the street to her and boys on hollister st ,san fernando ,ca ,when lupe passed my home sold and i gave shayna all my mexican pots ,antiques ,plants ,ect ,she loved old vintage items ,i pray and hope everyone finds peace ,as ever ,,jack

You were a sweet and generous soul. I will always remember our fun times in high school , thrift shopping and having a great time . Rest easy. Till we meet again ❤️. My deepest condolences to you family .

I loved her personality and how caring she was. I remember her telling me when i was looking for my house in Lancaster, stay away from so n so area n never go near xy and z.  I loved her!! Gonna miss her
