Shirley C. Munch was a renaissance person ahead of her time. She wrote, produced and starred in her own television show called Miss Shirley’s Fun School that aired during the 1960s and was syndicated across the country for 8 years. Later, she had her own real estate business in Los Angeles. From there, she attended law school and had her own estate planning law office for 38 years. Shirley is survived by her son M. Craig Singer, his wife Kate Rosloff and her granddaughter Arielle Singer along with her brother Abe Cannon and her sister Anna Himelhoch and many nieces and nephews. Her beloved husband Arthur Munch preceded her in death.
In lieu of flowers, Shirley has asked that donations may tribute these charities: Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem; SOFA (Save Our Forest Association, a non-profit environmental group Shirley was the founding president of 40+ years ago at Lake Arrowhead); or, Planned Parenthood.
A graveside service for Shirley will be held Friday, August 16, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Eden Memorial Park, 11500 Sepulveda Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 91345.
