Steve Gierson passed away at 81 years old on Sunday, September 29, 2024. Steve was an accomplished pianist (he had perfect pitch) and piano tuner. He is survived by his brother Eugene and sister-in-law Tammy.
Steve is survived by Esther Gierson, his stepmother in Los Angeles, Adam York, his nephew who lives in Chicago, Marianna York, his niece from Yuba City, Tamara Rowland, his niece from Spokane Washington, and Kody Whisman & Samantha Augur, his niece and nephew, from the San Fernando Valley.
Steve was preceded in death by one sister, Elizabeth York who passed away in 2014, and his parents Sylvia and Hyman Gierson 1981 and 2000 respectively.
A funeral for Steve was held Sunday, October 6, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Groman Eden Mortuary, 11500 Sepulveda Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 91344. Graveside services were held in Groman Eden Memorial Park in lot Temple Row 9 Space 5.
