Born on February 3, 1947, in Glendora, California, Barbara was the beloved daughter of Thomas and Merle Moscato. Throughout her life, Barb (or Bobbie) was known for her Christian faith and her unwavering love for family and friends.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Elisa Phillips Toth, her son-in-law, Travis Toth, her cherished grandsons, Eric Toth (26) and Larkin Toth (23) as well as nieces and other extended family members located throughout California. She was blessed to have a wonderful group of high school friends she kept in touch with over the years. After her move to her beloved state of Virginia, she was blessed with additional friends who she loved to travel with and enjoyed “antiquing” with her throughout the Virginia countryside and throughout New England. After her move to Mobile, Alabama in 2014 to be closer to Elisa, Travis, Eric and Larkin, she loved attending the boys’ school and sporting events.
She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her siblings, Thomas R. Moscato and Gayle Moscato Flowers.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all her nursing home caregivers, hospice, doctors, church family and friends for the love and support shown to Elisa, Travis and the rest of the family. Her faith in Jesus Christ is what sustained her through the last several years.
A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at a later date in California.
