Cecil Lavon Jones, a native of Mississippi and a resident of Saraland, AL, passed away January 21, 2019 at the age of 75. He is survived by his loving spouse of 48 years, Nell P. Jones; nieces; nephews; his church family at Luke 4:18 Fellowship; and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, George Ollie Jones and Ida Coren Walters Jones. Cecil served his country in the United States Navy. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to Luke 4 :18 Fellowship Church. Visitation will be held Friday, January 25, 2019 at 11:30 AM followed by Funeral service at 1 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 9700 Celeste Rd. Saraland, AL 36571. Entombment will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
