Charles Howard Berry

Charles Howard Berry, age 68, died Thursday, September 16, 2010. He was a native of Franklin County, AL & a resident of Saraland, AL. Mr. Berry was a former police officer with the Saraland Police Department, retired from E I DuPont in Axis, AL and was an avid hunter & outdoorsman. He loved his family & his dogs. Also, he was a proud veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Berry was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas & Lema Berry; a sister, Jerelyn Rutledge; a son, Charles Howard Berry, Jr.; & a step-son, Paul Anthony Higgins. Survivors include his loving wife, Patricia Berry of Saraland, AL; one son: Kenneth Berry of Louisianna; one daughter: Debbie Williams of Tibbie, AL; one step-daughter: Cynthia Whatley (Timothy) of Satsuma, AL; four grandchildren: Ashley, Tammy, Courtney & Bridgette; & four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 12 Noon from the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Joey Turman officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
