Chris Harold Gobin

Mr. Chris Harold Gobin, a lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, passed away peacefully onThursday, September 12, 2024 at the age of 64. Chris was born on Christmas Day1959, to Norbert and Irene Gobin. He always found solace in being close to home onMon Louis Island, and later in Theodore, Mobile and lastly Irvington.

Chris had a passion for food, fishing, gardening, and crafts. Chris' spiritual journeystarted at his home church, St. Rose of Lima Church. Chris will be missed by those whoknew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents Norbert Gobin and Irene (Collins) Gobin. He

leaves behind two sons Jonathan Gobin and Kenneth Gobin; four grandchildren; threesisters: Lois (James) Powe, Linda Tate and Debra Gobin; three brothers: Norbert(Marie) Gobin Jr., Oliver Gobin and Howard Gobin; one surviving aunt, Marie Collins; ahost of nieces, nephews and cousins and a special friend Evelyn Chestang.

Funeral Services will be on Friday September 20, 2024 starting 10 a.m. with a Mass of

the Christian Burial at St. Rose of Lima Church, 2951 Durette Ave, Coden, AL, 36523.Interment will immediately follow in the church’s cemetery, followed by a repast at thecommunity hall.
