Duke retired from the Mobile Fire Rescue Department after 28 years of service and was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. He enjoyed relaxing by the pool and loved his grandchildren with all his heart.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Jean Daughtry; his parents, Embree Duke Daughtry, Sr. and Alma Nora Boone Daughtry; and his sister, Patricia "Patsy" Wiseman.
Survivors include three children, Kimberly Daughtry (Joe) O'Shea, Lori Ann Daughtry Webb, and Michael Daughtry; five grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 2275 Snow Rd N, Semmes, AL 36575, US, on July 2, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at the same location at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in Springhill Memorial Gardens.
