John Alvin Reynolds - Age 58; a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL died December 21, 2021 in a local health care facility. Mr. Reynolds worked as an electrician with Moody's Electric. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerome Reynolds; his mother, Joyce Morphis Parker; granddaughter, Kayly Taylor Taphorn; grandparents, A.D. and Julia Reynolds and Theo and Avis R. Morphis; and great-grandmother, Bernie Brandon Ridings. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sharon Reynolds; one daughter, Elizabeth (Cody) Marino of Mobile, AL; one step-son, Jonathan (Amber) Taphorn of Eight-Mile, AL; five grandchildren, Zachary Marino, Henry Marino, Landun Taphorn, Preston Taphorn, and Kaylyn Taphorn; one brother, David (Patty) Reynolds; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Saad's Health Care, Research in finding cures for dementia, or ARF (Animal Rescue Foundation), a passion of ours in helping fostering dogs.
