Margaret Claire Ellsworth Armstrong

Margaret Claire Ellsworth Armstrong; born May 17, 1932 died July 28, 2017. Died peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She is predeceased by her husband, Gordon G. Armstrong, Jr., her mother, Margarite Blackwell, and her father, Robert Ellsworth. She is survived by her children Robin (Pat) Sigler, Julie (Greg) Guarisco, Gray (Cam) Pearl, Angie (Tom) Millet and Gordon G. (Simone) Armstrong, III. Her grandchildren Madeline Sigler, Colin Sigler, Andrew Guarisco, Megan Guarisco, Patrick Guarisco, Harrison Pearl, Cameron (Alex) Coppejans, Tucker Millett, Claire Millett, Ethan Millett, Gordon Gray Armstrong, IV, Will Armstrong, Peyton Armstrong, Chloe Mitchell, and a special family friend, Edna Davis.

Claire was a 1950 graduate of Convent of Mercy. She lived life to the fullest cherishing time with her husband and family, and loved spending time with her many good friends in her bridge and sewing groups. Happy family gatherings in her home were a daily occasion where everyone was always welcome. Her family is comforted that she is reunited with the love of her life, Gordon.

Visitation will be at the Sarto Center at St. Pius X Catholic Church on Wednesday, Aug. 2, 12:00 - 2:00 pm, with the Mass of Christian burial at 2pm. Interment will be afterwards at Pine Crest Cemetery.
