Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Marjorie spent her life dedicated to her faith, her family, and her love of music. Throughout her lifetime, she shared her musical gifts by playing the piano in many churches, lifting the spirits of countless congregations. A woman of deep and enduring faith, she also spent most of her adult life teaching Sunday School, fostering community and spiritual growth. In her later years, she was a devoted member of First Baptist Church in Starkville, Mississippi.
Marjorie’s greatest joy, however, was her family. Over the years, she selflessly and lovingly cared for several of her grandchildren while their parents worked, creating lasting bonds and cherished memories. Her legacy of love, faith, and service lives on through her two children, six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Delbert Vaughan Jr., Eleanor Vaughan Carnahan Winton, and Beverly Vaughan Stanisky.
