Michael Ray Brooks

Michael Ray Brooks - Age 64; a native of Bay Minette, Alabama and a resident of Grand Bay, Alabama died Monday, July 25,2022 at his residence. Mr. Brooks received his GED from Murphy High School and was employed for 16 years at Mobile Imports Auto Salvage in Theodore, Alabama. He was a member of Daysprings Baptist Church for over 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Eugene Brooks; one sister, Deborah Sue Brooks; his paternal grandparents, Luther and Daphne Brooks; and his maternal grandparents, Quitman and Bess Rolin. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Patricia M. Brooks of Grand Bay, Alabama; four children, Heather (Roy) Gonzales of Odessa, Texas, Shauna Haight, Alecia Roberts, and Ryan Smith all of Grand Bay, Alabama; his mother Lillie "Flree" Brooks; two brothers, Danny (Kathy) Brooks and Elton (Tracy) Brooks; ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 30,2022 at Daysprings Baptist Church, 2200 South Cody Road, Mobile, Alabama 36695 with funeral services to follow at 11:00 A.M. Graveside services and interment will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday at the Perdido Baptist Church Cemetery, Perdido, Alabama. Arrangements are by Ascension Funeral Home, 1016 Hillcrest Road, Mobile, Alabama 36695.
