Natalie Nester Stanley

Natalie Nester Stanley passed away on October 2, 2026 in Mobile, Alabama, at the age of 89. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Natalie was born on January 25, 1937 in Kemper County, Mississippi to Howard Nester Sr. and Flora May Nester. At the center of Natalie’s life was her faith and close relationship with family and friends. She was a member of Saving Grace Lutheran Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard Nester Sr. and Flora May Nester, and her brothers, Howard Nester Jr. and John Nester.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Daniel Stanley; son Michael Stanley and daughter-in-law Dee Ann Stanley; grandchildren Samantha Walton (Jesse), and Scott Stanley, and great-grandchildren Blaire Walton and Jace Walton; sister-in-laws Barbara Nester and Janet Nester.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Saving Grace Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.

Visitation will be held at Saving Grace Lutheran Church, 1500 Snow Rd, Mobile, AL 36695, on October 8, 2026, from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., followed by the Funeral Service at the same location from 11:00 A.M.

Committal will take place at Pine Crest Cemetery West, 1599 SNOW RD S, MOBILE, AL 36695.
