Patrick “PJ” Frayer, age 39, entered into eternal rest following a hard-fought battle with a severe brain
injury.
PJ carried a natural Southern gentleman charm everywhere he went. He possessed an unforgettable charisma, a sharp sense of humor, and a bright infectious presence that made the world a more vibrant place.
To know PJ was to love him, to laugh with him, and to be lifted by his energy. A gift on the gridiron, PJ played football for Daphne High School, helping lead his team to the State Championship game against Hoover High School during the memorable era featured on MTV’s Two-A-Days. His stand-out talent and drive earned him a spot as a walk-on player for Nick Saban’s Crimson Tide at the University of Alabama. Though previous injuries kept him from taking the field at Alabama, his passion for the game never dimmed. PJ channeled his deep understanding of football
into becoming an exceptional trainer, impacting and inspiring countless young athletes who were blessed to learn under his guidance.
Above all, PJ was a man of faith. His family finds immense comfort in knowing that as a Christian, PJ is now reunited with his Lord and Savior in Heaven.
PJ is survived by his beloved father, Patrick Frayer; his brother Nicholas Frayer; his sister, Lauren Kilpatrick; and his nephew, James Terry, whom PJ loved fiercely and whole-heartedly.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lisa Frayer who welcomed him into his heavenly home.
The world is undeniably less colorful without PJ in it, but his legacy of warmth, laughter, and love will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew him.
