Ruth Fletcher Green – a longtime resident of Saraland, Alabama, died Sunday, September 23, 2018 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius J. Green; and one grandson, Adrian Green. She is survived by six children, William J. “Bill” Green, Thomas Woodrow (Cindy) Green, Gordon (Cindy) Green, Karen Simmons, Rodger (Brenda) Green, and Wayne Green; ten grandchildren, Christopher (Angela) Green, Stacy (Danny) Langham, Mandy (Casey) Jones, Jackson (Brittany) Green, Brandon Harris, Jessica (Jeremy) Boyce, Jonathon (Kim) Harris, Zachary Harris, Aaron Harris, and Michelle (Joshua) McClendon; sixteen great-grandchildren, Matthew Green, Jacob Green, Gavin Green, Brieland Green, Alyssa Krueger, Thomas Chase, Alex Chase, Juliann Jones, Maverick Green, Zoe Harris, Gabriel Boyce, Elijah Boyce, Payton Highsmith, Gracie McClendon, Hailey McClendon, and Courtney McClendon; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 11 A.M. until 12 Noon at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday from the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Barr officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
