Sandra Kaye Patterson Thompson, age 72 passed away on September 11, 2015. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Sandra enjoyed reading, cooking and loved watching HGTV. She was a long time member of Bayou Sara Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lamar and Dorothy Patterson; sister, Cheryl “Check” and brother, Randy. Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Edwin Thompson; son, Edwin B. (Connie) Thompson, Jr. and daughter, Susan T. Fryer; her wonderful grandchildren, Grant N. Thompson, Danielle, Timothy and Thomas Fryer; one brother, Glenn Patterson. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 14, 2015 from 10:00 am until the funeral service time at 12:00 noon at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Reverend Dennis Dunn will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
