Sgt. Milton Allen Woodruff “Woody”, born in Pekin, IL, raised in Saraland, AL passed away October 16, 2019 at the age of 59. He is survived by his parents, Milton and Peggy Woodruff; his brother, Jeff (Lee Ann) Woodruff; his nieces, Michaela (Scottie) Townsend and Savannah Woodruff; his cousin Tommy Long; his great friends, Melinda Maddox and David Lachmann. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, T.R. and Fronia Woodruff, Winfred and Gertice Long. Woody graduated from Satsuma High School in 1978. He worked 25 years at Scott Paper Company. Woody was currently employed for 17 years as a Correctional Sergeant at Mobile County Metro Jail. Visitation will be Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 12 PM followed by funeral service at 2PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 9700 Celeste Rd. Saraland, AL 36571. Interment will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
