Travis was a caring and quiet man who enjoyed good conversation and had a deep love for his family. He was especially devoted to his son, Jacob Patrick Conner, and cherished the time and relationships he shared with his nieces and nephews.
Travis proudly served his country as a United States Marine. His commitment to serving others continued throughout much of his adult life as he worked with military personnel struggling with addiction and supported those seeking recovery through Alcohol Anonymous. Travis dedicated himself to helping others through difficult times, offering understanding, compassion, and support to those who needed it most.
Outside of his work and service to others, Travis found joy in the simple things in life. He was a true dog person and loved all of his pets. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, hiking and visiting the beach.
Travis is survived by his beloved son, Jacob Patrick Conner, his mother Mary Gayle Robertson Conner, his brother William Jacob Conner, III (Karen), his sisters Therese Conner Morris (Paul), Lily Regina Conner (Clint Steadman) and Carrie Burton Pace (Michael). Along with nieces and nephews, Kaitlyn Morris Moore (Michael), Hartley Kay Conner (Wil Roy), Claire Conner McKay (Jake), Chase Travers Conner, Michael Lamar Pace III and Wyatt Burton Pace. He was preceded in death by his father William Jacob Conner Jr.
The family invites friends and loved ones to join them in honoring and celebrating Travis’s life. Monday, September 14th from 5:00-8:00 at Ascension Funeral Home and Tuesday, September 15th for Mass at 10:00 at Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church and reception following at church’s Hall of Angels.
