William W. Wright

William W. Wright was born November 15, 1930 and passed away peacefully at home on August 13, 2022. He was 91 years old. Bill, as he was called, served in both the Army and the Navy. He worked as a diesel mechanic on Johnson Island until he retired and settled in Grand Bay, Al. He loved spending hours on his front porch watching squirrels and birds. He also enjoyed visiting family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Garland and Viola Wright. He leaves behind his loving wife Barbara Wright. Also his children Kim (Jim) Stephens, Scott Wright, Amy (Tommy) Newton, Tracy (Keisha) Wright, Phillip Burke, Arthur (Barbette) Burke, Rose (Bill Williams) Charlton, Sidney Burke, And Rhoda (Bull) Williamson. He also leaves numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. He is also survived by his bestest friend Maggie. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
