I have fond memories of Ann from my Hemby Bridge years with her as a teacher assistant. She taught me about class discipline and caring about my students. She was a very devoted Assistant Principal. I can still hear her voice and laughter twenty years later. I shall miss your church dinners and all the fun you ladies had.

I am so sorry to hear if Ann's passing. I knew her through teaching in Union County. She was a wonderful person. She helped shape a lot of lives in her teaching and school career.

Just spoke with my mom Eleanor about the good times we all had as kids at our respective houses.  So sorry to hear of Ann's passing.  You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss! Ms. Medlin as I knew her was a wonderful teacher! She was so good to all the Cockrell sisters while we were at Wesley Chapel Elementary  and I will never forget that beautiful smile!! My God wrap his loving arms around you in our time of sadness.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

Ann was a friend to everyone. As a friend and classmate I will always remember Ann for her true friendship and love of life. My thoughts and are with you during this time.

You and I, my sister and Ann go way back.  Before we started school, all of us played and had fun.  Ann was always a delight and I know you will miss her greatly.  She was a wonderful person, and a good friend.

Saddened to hear of Ann's passing!  She was a great teacher, and a wonderful friend.  I taught with her at WC.  We shared a lot of laughs, and even some tears. she was someone You could always depend on, and I treasured her friendship. She will be missed by many.  My prayers go to Bill and his family.

I did not know Ann as long as her childhood friends and her Sun Valley classmates. My husband, Steve went to SunValley. I met Ann at the re Union and she made a wonderful impression on me. She was so loving,  caring, and a great sense of humor. Another angel has gone home. Ann and Steve are in heaven probably wondering why we are sad. After all, we are the ones in pain. Ann is not. She is missed. God Bless her family and friends

My heart goes out to Bill(Debbie) Medlin and all of Ann's relatives and friends.  She and I were "Sisters"--having grown up together and also in adulthood. She was a wonderful person and I count it a blessing to have had her in my life.  She will always be in my heart.  Heaven is blessed to have another angel.

For many years we lost touch but over the last 5 years I have been honored to find my old friend again.  We were having so much fun planning our 50 year reunion and I looked forward to seeing her every month at our classmate luncheon.  She will be missed. To the Medlin Family:  I am so sad that Ann's Earthly life has ended and she is in Heaven organizing the teachers and educators to help the young angels to read better.  She was a fantastic teacher and lover of North Carolina history. It was an honor to be on her staff at Hemby Bridge Elem .  She was fun and a great person and will be missed by many. She was so proud of her nephews and loved her brother and told you all about her love for them.  Her name makes a smile come on my face because of her gift of wit and joy of life.Rest in Peace and just think No EOG's in Heaven for sure.... God Bless

My sincerest sympathies to Ann's family. She was a great college roommate, and I have many good memories of our ASU experiences. She took me home to Monroe, where this city girl learned about eggs and chickens and "cruising NC-style", and came to Florida to experience Spring Break Panama City Beach-style.. Ann is also the reason I have pierced ears! Rest in peace and rise in glory, my friend.
